WW2 Victory: teamwork

In March 1944, a “USSR Victory” steamship was set on water in California. “Victory” ships were mass- produced in the U.S. during that year — totalling almost 900. Each bore a name of a country, town or organisation that was contributing to the defeat of the Nazi regime. This was well before the U.S. turned to to the policy of taking all credit for good things and blaming others for the bad.
